Hi,
I am Vida Opoku, and I come from a very humble background. I know how it feels to have nothing, have no education, and forced to do something against your wish. Because of this, I founded Genesis Academy where people can learn, read, and understand that they have every right to decide for themselves.
Born and raised in Ghana West Africa. Vida started her education is a small village which has no school building. She attended her education under mango trees where the students used their hands to write in the sand. Vida faced different challenges during her childhood.
In 2016, Vida moved to the United States for a new start.
Vida graduated from Loyola University Chicago in 2023 with a Bachelor of political science and government. In fall 2023, Vida enrolled in graduate school in Loyola University Chicago and graduated with master’s in International Affairs in 2025.
Vida had featured in different public speaking events which UNCEF USA 75th Anniversary ( 2021).
Motivated and reliable Graduate of Loyola University, Chicago USA seeking to leverage my strong interpersonal and mentoring skills, my ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, my experience in helping in fundraising, volunteer work, teamwork and my knowledge of MS Office to engage in customer-focused work environment. Dedicated to improving community through consistency, hard work and training.
